Brethren,
On April 21st we will he having a talk on the Civil War by Brother Bruce Nelson. Brother Bruce is very knowledgeable on this subject. He was in Gettysburg when they filmed the movie and has given talks in lodges, schools and reenactments. So bring your family, a friend, children, grand children or anyone interested in the Civil War.
We are in the process of replacing the roof and connecting to the town water line.
The total cost to the lodge for these projects will be $14,000.00 to $15,000.00 If you can help, please send your donation to the lodge.

A Stated Communication of Stephenson Lodge No. 135, A.F. & A.M. will be held on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7TH at 7:30 p.m. This meeting is on the Lodge building. We will discuss whether we want to remodel the existing building or build a new one. This is an important meeting so we can start to plan and the necessary procedures to move forward. A Stated Communication of Stephenson Lodge No. 135, A.F. & A.M. will be held on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21ST. at 7:30 p.m. This will be a special night for us as the Worshipful Master has said in his comments. Bro. Bruce will present an interesting talk on the Civil War. We will have a very short meeting and then open Lodge for all families, friends and visitors.
The Annual Easter Sunrise Service will be held on SUNDAY, APRIL 11TH at 7:30 a.m. at Bonnie Blink. Jewels and aprons will not be worn. All brethren and their families and friends are invited.
On FRIDAY, APRIL 23 at 7:30 the Masonic Charties of Maryland Inc. will present AN EVENING WITH STEVE ROUSE & COMPANY, FROM WQSR RADIO AT THE GRAND LODGE OF MARYLAND. Admission : $25.00 a person. No on under the age of 21 admitted.

There are still a few dues cards on my desk which are past due.
Our next meeting is a very important meeting. We need to know how every member feel about this great adventure of either remodeling or building a new building. Each of us are going to be asked to help with the upcoming event, no matter what is decided.
The Worshipful Master has formed a telephone committee to inform you of any event that will be happening in our Lodge.
