Brethren, I recently read a letter by the Master of Union Lodge that really opened my eyes. He explained the need of Masons to communicate with their families. We can share information in this communication with our wives and others. There is nothing secret in anything sent to you by the Lodge or the Grand Lodge that others can’t read. We should keep our wives and families informed on what we are doing in Lodge to keep them interested in our Lodge. I heard that a brother passed away and that his widow didn’t know how to contact the Lodge to inform them of his death and request a Memorial Service. This should never happen to any of our wives or family members. Allow your communication to be read and keep our wives and families informed on what is happen- iing at Lodge. Keep the Master and Secretary’s phone numbers posted and tell your family that if you are sick or need to contact the Lodge to call these numbers. If you have a computer inform your family of our website address which is www.sl135.org there is a variety of information on this site including numbers, events and other useful information. Brethren, our Lodge can better serve you and your family if we are informed on what is going on with you. The brethren in this Lodge are concerned about you and your family. Every meeting we have a sick report and update on members and family members that we know who are or have been sick. Brother Jerry Fields is the Sick Committee Chairman and the person who reports to us every meeting. He can be contacted at May God bless you and your family,
The Master and Secretary can be contacted at ronstea@aol.com for Ron
