Brethren,
Thanks for electing me Worshipful Master this year. I am looking forward to a great year in Lodge. We have several new members receiving degrees. The Building Committee is aggressively working on plans and ideas to present to the Lodge in the next several months. I hope to see or hear from you all in the next year. This year, let’s all try to attend as many meetings as possible. The future of Stephenson Lodge is you, the member.
A Stated Communication of Stephenson Lodge No. 135, A.F.&A.M. will be held on WEDENESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2004 at 7:30 pm for the Installation of Officers. A covered dish supper will be held at 6:00 pm. Come bring a dish and if you don’t have a dish, come anyway, Please try to attend this first meeting.
The Harford Country School of Instructions will be held on FRIDAY, JANUARY 9, 2004 at 7:30pm in Aberdeen lodge No. 187. The Fellow Craft Degree will be exemplified. All officers are urged to attend and all Master Masons are welcomed.
A Stated Communication of Stephenson Lodge No. 135, A.F.&A.M. will be held on WEDENESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2004 at 7:30 pm. Come and bring a Master Mason with you.
There will be practice for all officers on Mondays, January 12th, 19th, and 26th. You don’t have to be an officer to help with practice. Extra bodies are always needed. Practice starts at 7:00pm and is usually over by 8:30pm.
There are still quite a number of dues cards for 2004 on the Secretary’s desk. Your dues of $36.00 should be paid by the first communication in January 2004. Please pay your dues as required by our by-laws. Your dues are needed as the Lodge must pay their dues.

Installation of officers for Bethel No. 55, IOJD will be held on Saturday, JANUARY 3, 2004 at 3:00 pm in Harmony Lodge No. 53.
Stephenson Lodge No 135 Ladies Night will be held Saturday, NOVEMBER 6, 2004 at the Level Fire Hall.
The Darlington Apple Festival will be held on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2004. This is the only fundraiser our Lodge will have during the year. We need lots of help on FRIDAY, to set up and then to work on Saturday. Therefore mark your calendar now.
A reminder to all members:
You must notify the secretary as soon as possible of any change of address or phone numbers. This is important to save the lodge postage and for you to receive your mail from the Lodge. You should also let the secretary know of any sickness or deaths.
From the Secretary’s desk:
Brethren, Our Worshipful Master Elect is starting is third time as Master of the Lodge. I think it is only becoming that we support him this year with your attendace. We all can certainly attend at least once or twice this year. We also need your help in making this a successful year. Officers are also needed to govern our Lodge in the future.
