FROM THE EAST:
As this is my last communications I want to thank all the brethren of the Lodge for their support in helping make my year enjoyable as Worshipful Master. I especially want to thank my Officers who stuck with me thru thick and thin. You are a great bunch. I also want to ask you to give your full support to Ron thru his term as Worshipful Master. Let’s all get behind him and give the support he needs for the coming year.

A Stated Communication of Stephenson Lodge No. 135, A.F.&A.M. will be held on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1st at 7:30 p.m. Installation of the officers will be held. There will be a covered dish supper starting at 6:30 pm. Come, bring a dish and a Master Mason with you.
On MONDAY JANUARY 13th, 20th, 27th at 7:00pm practice will be held. Officers and interested persons please attend. (Note: Bro Dayton has offered to help those with their lectures or other ritual on the off Wednesdays. Please contact him if you are interested.)
A Stated Communication of Stephenson Lodge No. 135, A.F.&A.M. will be held on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15th at 7:30 p.m. Mr. William Zile Smith, Jr. will receive the Entered Apprentice Degree. (Come, bring a a Master Mason with you.)
On, FEBRUARY 1st at 9:00am the Regional Meeting will be held in Mount Ararat Lodge No. 44. All Officers are urged to attend, and all Master Masons are welcomed.

We are still looking for blood donors. Please call Bro. Bruce Flaugher, Ph 410-836-3584 and offer your help. In 2002 our Lodge donated 20 pints of blood to the Blood Bank Br. Dave Kraus and Bro. Duane Duncan were top givers with 6 pints each. Thank you Dave and Duane for your donations. Let’s help Bro. Bruce this year and go over the top again. If you need Blood Bank Cards, see Bro. Bruce or the Secretary.
There are a lot of dues cards on the Secretary’s Desk. Remember-the new ruling from the Grand Lodge. “Dues are to be paid by the first meeting in January”. Dues not paid by the last meeting of the year will result in you being suspended for the no-payment of dues. The dues are $36.00 this year.
The Officers and Choir of Bethel No. 55 International Order of Job’s Daughters cordially invites you to attend the Installation Ceremony on SATURDAY, JANUARY 4th, 2003 at 2:00pm in Harmony Lodge No. 54, Port Deposit, MD.
Stephenson Lodge wishes to thank those who have contributed to the Building Fund this year. We now have a little over $37,000 in the Building Fund.
FROM THE SECRETARY’S DESK: Brethren, the year 2002 has been a good year for Stephenson Lodge under the direction of our Worshipful Master, Bro. Dave Kraus. We are looking toward the year 2003 under the leadership of PM Ronald Stearn. He has a good year planned, with a couple of fund raisers, interesting meetings with two members receiving their fifty year pins.
Let’s give him our support by attending the meetings and activities.
Most of the Lodges are having open installations and dinner before. If interested call me for information.
